Oireachtas Gaeilge Cheanada is a celebration of song and language. Due to COVID-19, the Oireachtas will be held as part of this year's Gaeltacht Summer Immersion Week, on 14 August 2021.

The North American Gaeltacht welcomes you to the Gaeltacht Summer Immersion Week, 12-17 August 2024. We are offering classes for all levels, from complete beginners to fluent speakers. Camping at the Gaeltacht site allows a full immersion in the language. Join us in Tamworth, Ontario, for a learning opportunity like no other outside of Ireland.

As the only recognized Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking area) outside of Ireland, the North American Gaeltacht is inviting you to our virtual Fall Immersion Series, Féile na Samhna

Over the course of three weekends, 12-13, 19-20, 26-27 of November 2022, experienced teachers will offer weekend language classes for all levels. As well, a variety of cultural workshops will be offered, giving students the chance to practice their language skills outside the classroom. It is our goal that every learner will be at ease practicing and speaking Irish in a relaxed atmosphere.
We are offering a unique opportunity for immersive learning with classes and a workshop each day through video chat.
The November Immersion Series is the perfect opportunity to have a Gaeltacht experience from wherever you are!
